UNIVERSITY RESEARCH FUNDING UNDER TRANSFORMATION IN DENMARK FROM 2000 TO THE PRESENT
Seminar with presentation by Postdoc Kaare Aagaard, Danish Centre for Studies in Research and Research Policy, University of Aarhus.
The presentation covers recent trends in the funding of research at Danish universities and emphasizes in particular how the core funding of research increasingly has come under pressure during the last decade. This pressure is both the result of a turn to more competitive funding mechanisms and a development where more and more internal and external strings become attached to the remaining core funding.
