Science: A four thousand year history

How do you fit 4000 years of science into 400 pages?
For over twenty years, historians of science have been discussing this
'Big Picture' problem, and Patricia Fara's solution will be published
at the end of February by Oxford University Press. In this talk, she
discusses three of the Big Questions she had to confront while she was
writing her new book –
When did science begin? Who did science? How does science change?
Some of her answers may be unexpected.
